PREVIEW: MILDENHALL v WORKINGTON (NDL)

MILDENHALL return from a lengthy summer break as they host Workington in the NDL at West Row today (Sunday).

The Fen Tigers still have hopes of a top two finish although they are relying on results elsewhere, but they need three points against the Comets to remain in contention.

The hosts have booked Danny Phillips to guest for Lee Complin, who is on Championship duty with Glasgow, whilst the Comets also have Connor Bailey on senior duty whilst Sam McGurk was injured at Leicester on Saturday.

Former Mildenhall rider Ryan Kinsley replaces Bailey whilst rider replacement operates for Pijper, and Kai Ward continues at reserve.

Fen Tigers boss Jason Gardner said: “It’s been out of our direct control that we’ve gone over a month since our last home meeting but we need to put those frustrations behind us and concentrate on getting the win, the three points and making sure the other teams chasing the play-off positions know we are still around.”
