PREVIEW: REDCAR v GLASGOW (Cab Direct Champ)

REDCAR boss Gavin Parr has challenged his team to preserve the side’s undefeated league record at the ECCO Arena as the Bears host Glasgow tonight (Sunday, 5pm).

Victory would move the home side back up to fourth in the Cab Direct Championship table with the sides set to meet again in the near future as they are in the same play-off group.

Ben Cook comes in as a guest for the Bears as Charles Wright has been called up by Polish giants Wroclaw, whilst the Tigers have Richard Lawson guesting for Benjamin Basso, who is also in Poland, and they will operate rider replacement if Claus Vissing remains on the sidelines.

Parr said: “We want to stay undefeated and we will be going for the win and the aggregate point to remain undefeated at home.

“With Glasgow signing Vadim Tarasenko, they are probably the strongest top five that have visited Redcar in 2023, but with Tarasenko not having raced here before, it may take him a couple of rides to get dialled in – but make no mistake, he’s World class!”
