PREVIEW: KING’S LYNN v PLYMOUTH (NDT)

KING’S Lynn will celebrate their National Development Trophy title when they host Plymouth at the Adrian Flux Arena tonight (Wednesday).

The Young Stars wrapped up the silverware with a big win at Kent on Sunday, and they will receive their awards following the clash with the Centurions.

With Max Perry unavailable due to a meeting for his Championship club Glasgow, the home side bring in Connor Coles to guest at No.2.

Young Stars boss Jason Pipe said: “We are now going into the meeting as NDT Champions, but we won’t be taking the Centurions lightly.

“They have riders in their team who are very capable of scoring points around the Adrian Flux Arena and I’m sure their team manager, Barry Bishop, will have them fired up as they will be looking at trying to do the double over the Young Stars, after we fell to our only defeat of the season so far when we lost down in Plymouth in mid-July.

“We did have some bad luck and one or two decisions went against us that evening, and I know our boys are wanting to make up for that defeat down in Devon.”
