BSN HOLDERS GO THROUGH

BSN Series holders Redcar are through to this season’s semi-finals after a 48-42 win at Workington ensured they topped the Northern group.

Bears reserve Jody Scott put on a sensational display at the GT Tyres Arena with 11 points from his first four rides, and he teamed up with colleague Ace Pijper (6+3) for a key 5-1 in Heat 12.

The Comets had previously fought back from six points down but they were unable to respond fully to that setback, and Nicolai Klindt (13+1) clinched the away win in an excellent Heat 15.

Jake Allen (10) also hit double figures for the visitors, whilst Workington No.1 Jonas Jeppesen scored 16 from six rides.
