PREVIEW: OXFORD v BELLE VUE (WSRA NDL)

WSRA National Development League leaders Oxford look to take another step towards the title when they host Belle Vue today (Sunday).
The Chargers will, however, be without two of their regulars as both Jacob Clouting (scaphoid) and Arran Butcher (hand) are currently sidelined due to injury, with Jamie Halder and Kai Ward coming in to guest.

Manager Peter Schroeck said: “Ignore the league table, Belle Vue Colts have a good side – led by William Cairns and Freddy Hodder – and it will be a great afternoon of speedway.

“Of course, we have two top riders ourselves in Jody Scott and Darryl Ritchings, both of whom have benefitted from riding in the Cab Direct Championship.

“That’s what the WSRA National Development League is all about – rider progression.”

Belle Vue, who are yet to get off the mark in the NDL this season, have Harry Fletcher back in their declared line-up after injury, and he replaces Connor King.
