PREVIEW: LEICESTER v EDINBURGH (WSRA NDL)

LEICESTER host Edinburgh in a clash of third against second in the WSRA National Development League today (Sunday).

The Lion Cubs just overcame the Steelers in their last match a fortnight ago, whist the Monarchs Academy won comfortably against the same opponents who were somewhat depleted on Friday.

They continue with rider replacement for Matt Marson whilst Leicester have Luke Harris guesting for injured skipper Max James and r/r for the retired Sonny Springer. Ben Trigger takes over as captain.

Lion Cubs manager Jen Crossland said: “I was very impressed with the way Ben got around the riders and talked to them when we were in a tough situation last time, so he was the obvious choice to be captain when Max was ruled out.

“It promises to be another tough match on paper as Edinburgh have plenty of strength at the top which will make it interesting for Ben, Max (Perry) and Cooper (Rushen).
