PREVIEW: BELLE VUE v MIDDLESBROUGH (WSRA NDL)

BELLE Vue Colts co-boss Graham Goodwin is eyeing today’s (Sunday) WSRA NDL clash with Middlesbrough as a chance to reset their season.

The Manchester side are still looking to get off the mark after five defeats so far, whilst the visitors are the team immediately ahead of them in the league table.

Both sides are at full strength with the Tigers including recent signings Elliot Kelly and Charlie Southwick.

Goodwin said: “It’s no secret that the season hasn’t gone to plan so far with injuries and various other things that have gone against us, but we’re not looking back.

“We are only halfway through the fixtures, and we have three home meetings remaining to look forward to. So it feels like our season starts here.

“We now have Mason Watson back and with the younger end of the team more experienced on our home track, we can look forward to building on that last match (at Oxford).”

Tigers manager Brian Turner said: “We have got nothing to lose so it’s all about the boys going out there having fun on their bikes and staying injury free.

“Apart from the match against Leicester, we have been close in every other match, we have just been on the wrong side of the results.”

BELLE VUE: Will Cairns, Jack Shimelt, Jack Kingston, Mason Watson, Freddy Hodder, Harry Fletcher, Billy Budd.

MIDDLESBROUGH: Ace Pijper, Elliot Kelly, Stene Pijper, Jamie Halder, Tom Spencer, Kai Ward, Charlie Southwick.
