MPT: STARS CAN SHINE

KING’S Lynn’s Michael Palm Toft is one of only two riders remaining from the club’s 2023 squad – and he expects the re-built side to be strong play-off contenders.

The Stars have made five changes with Palm Toft and Rising Star Anders Rowe staying at the Adrian Flux Arena, and the Dane has given his particular backing to the signing of Polish ace Tobiasz Musielak as their new No.1.

Palm Toft said: “It’s quite a changed outfit with only a few left from last year, and with Niels (Iversen) coming back.

“I think we’re a good side, and I really rate Musielak a lot. He’s a brilliant rider and a very nice guy.

“We’ve got a good one-to-seven, that’s for sure, and now we need to get the track dialled in for us, and then off we go. I can’t see why we shouldn’t be in the play-offs.”

*King’s Lynn kick off their 2024 season with a trip to Leicester on March 21, before hosting the Lions at the Adrian Flux Arena on March 28.
