PREVIEW: MILDENHALL v LEICESTER (NDL)

MILDENHALL host Leicester in a big clash of two NDL title hopefuls at West Row today (Sunday).

The two clubs contested last season’s Grand Final with the Lion Cubs coming out on top, and both are strongly in the mix for honours once again this time around.

The Fen Tigers are top of the table with the Lion Cubs just a point behind with a match in hand – but the visitors still have two riders ruled out.

Captain Joe Thompson and Tom Spencer, who has dropped to reserve, remain on the sidelines with Sam Woods coming in to guest. The home side are at full strength.

Leicester boss Dave Howard said: “It will be a tough challenge away at Mildenhall, who are the current NDL leaders.

“But we will be giving it everything to battle as close as possible to put us in a good position to pick up the aggregate point when we race them at home later in the season.”

MILDENHALL: Alfie Bowtell, Arran Butcher, Ben Trigger, George Congreve, Lee Complin, William Richardson, Josh Warren.
LEICESTER: Dan Thompson, Ashton Boughen, Max Perry, Max James, Joe Thompson r/r, Vinnie Foord, Sam Woods.
