PREVIEW: BERWICK v MILDENHALL (NDL)

BERWICK defend their unbeaten home NDL record against defending champions Mildenhall at Shielfield Park tonight (Saturday).

The Bullets are six points clear at the top of the table but the Fen Tigers have only completed two matches, and won at Armadale on Friday.

And Berwick asset Danny Phillips has been recruited by the visitors to guest for James Shanes who is on FIM World Longtrack duty.

Meanwhile Kyle Bickley leads the home side despite the recent shock of losing his Championship place with the club.

Bullets coach Kevin Little said: “It hasn’t been the usual build-up to a meeting, that’s for sure.

“I can empathise with both Kyle and the club, but with Berwick running two teams he has found himself in a unique situation. “Once race night comes around he can concentrate on racing, the rest will take care of itself.”

BERWICK: Kyle Bickley, Mason Watson, Ace Pijper, Greg Blair, Luke Crang, Kieran Douglas, Ben Rathbone.
MILDENHALL: Jason Edwards, Sam Bebee, Jack Kingston, Alex Spooner, Danny Phillips, Josh Warren, Luke Muff.
