STARKE IS FULL KENT ASSET

KENT have purchased the contract of Paul Starke who now becomes a fully-fledged Kings rider.

Starke, who joined the club after a most recent Championship spell with Glasgow, scored 8+1 in their first win at this level against Plymouth on Tuesday.

Promoter Len Silver said: “This is a rider with everything going for him. Speed, tenacity and a high level of skill. Every race is an exciting one.

“The only shortfall presently is his modest trapping. But he is working on that, and if he finds the solution, he steps into World-class. In the meantime, I love his races.”
