COLTS CALL ON SMITH

BELLE Vue have signed Jack Smith to re-join their National Development League side for the remainder of the season.

Smith has recently made two successful guest appearances for his former club and takes the place of Benji Compton, who has been ruled out with a wrist injury.

Said Smith: “I’m very happy to pick up a spot with the Colts for the rest of the year, especially after things with the other clubs didn’t pan out for me.

“It did knock my confidence to lose out on riding in the Championship, but I am more determined than ever to finish the season strongly.

“I am very grateful to the Belle Vue management for the opportunity and I’m looking forward to putting in as many points as I can for the team.”
