PREVIEW: WOLVERHAMPTON v IPSWICH (Prem)

WOLVERHAMPTON make their belated return to Monmore Green on Monday with early Premiership leaders Ipswich in town.

Wolves made a flying start to the season with their massive away win at King’s Lynn last week and now race at home for the first time.

The Witches already have away points on the board themselves as they too were successful in Norfolk on the opening night of the campaign.

Wolves star Nick Morris said: “King’s Lynn wasn’t easy because the track was grippy and tricky, but we went there and got the job done and we have to be happy with that.

“Now we have to get back to Monmore and add three more points against Ipswich. It’s going to be great to be in front of the Wolverhampton fans again, I missed them all last year, that’s for sure.

“We’ve got to try and take our form from Thursday into Monday night and hopefully that will get us into a good position.”

WOLVERHAMPTON: Sam Masters, Luke Becker, Nick Morris, Ryan Douglas, Rory Schlein, Broc Nicol, Tom Bacon.
IPSWICH: Jason Crump, Jordan Stewart, Cameron Heeps, Jake Allen, Danny King, Anders Rowe, Drew Kemp.
Ipswich boss Ritchie Hawkins said: “Wolves have not ridden at home this year yet so hopefully that will help us a little bit.

“They are fancied by many, and I think the league is very even. I think we are more than capable of going to Wolves and performing.

“Our riders are more than capable of scoring points around Wolves. It will be tough, like every night this season and they’ll be on a high from their result on Thursday, but we will prove a tougher test than they have had.”
