PREVIEW: KING’S LYNN v IPSWICH (ROWE MOTOR OIL PREM)

IPSWICH head to local rivals King’s Lynn tonight (Thursday) one point off the top of the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership table.

The Witches have won seven of their eight matches so far and now look to complete a derby double over the Stars, after a 14-point home victory earlier this month.

King’s Lynn, who rode strongly at Belle Vue on Monday, operate rider replacement for the injured Tobiasz Musielak, whilst the visitors have Tom Brennan guesting for Danny King.

Stars manager Rob Lyon said: “As I said after the meeting on Monday, I was really pleased with the way the boys took it to Belle Vue.

“Hopefully we can build on that now and get a good result against Ipswich.

“It’s always nice if you can put one over the local rivals but for me it’s just another two league points up for grabs and we desperately need them

Ipswich boss Ritchie Hawkins said: “We will look to be solid throughout the team again like we have been in all of our away victories, that is what has brought those successes.

“We saw on Monday they were strong from reserve at Belle Vue, but we have been strong from one to seven and we are going to bring an extremely tough test being strong from heat leaders, second strings to reserves.

“We will bring it to them on Thursday and see what they have got.”

KING’S LYNN: Tobiasz Musielak R/R, Benjamin Basso, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Michael Palm Toft, Nicolai Klindt, Patryk Wojdylo, Anders Rowe.
IPSWICH: Emil Sayfutdinov, Dan Thompson, Adam Ellis, Tom Brennan, Jason Doyle, Keynan Rew, Jordan Jenkins.
