PREVIEW: OXFORD v LEICESTER (NDL GRAND FINAL)
OXFORD and Leicester are set to contest the National Development League Grand Final on a one-off basis tonight (Tuesday).
The teams will meet for the title decider at Cowley on the last night of the British Speedway season, having been frustrated by the weather on previous attempts to race at both venues.
British Speedway Promoters’ Ltd have confirmed that if tonight’s fixture is unable to be staged, Leicester will be declared champions as they were league leaders ahead of the Grand Final.
Both clubs are at full strength with Henry Atkins returning for Oxford after he would have missed the postponed meetings at Leicester at the weekend, whilst Max James will race for the Lion Cubs despite a heavy crash in Sunday’s track test at Beaumont Park.
OXFORD: Jordan Jenkins, Ryan Kinsley, Luke Killeen, Jody Scott, Henry Atkins, Jacob Clouting, Jason Garrad.
LEICESTER: Dan Thompson, Ashton Boughen, Max Perry, Tom Spencer, Joe Thompson, Vinnie Foord, Max James.
