POSTPONED: KING’S LYNN v LEICESTER (ROWE MOTOR OIL PREM)

MONDAY’S scheduled ROWE Motor Oil Premiership match between King’s Lynn and Leicester at the Adrian Flux Arena has been postponed because of a waterlogged track. A new date will be announced in due course.

KING’S Lynn look for a third successive win in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership tonight (Monday) when they host Leicester.

The teams meet at the Adrian Flux Arena with the aggregate point also available as the Lions won 47-42 when they met back in March.

The Stars operate rider replacement for the absent Tobiasz Musielak, with Steve Worrall guesting for long-term injury victim Nicolai Klindt.

Meanwhile the Lions are at full-strength with Sam Hagon back in the Rising Star berth, and they are keen to end a run of three defeats on the trot as they bid to re-ignite their play-off chase.

Stars boss Rob Lyon said: “We’ve got five home meetings in July, and it’s our chance really to get those league points in the bag and put ourselves in the mix for that fourth position.

“These five matches will be defining – so no pressure and all that, but we do need to win those five home meetings, and if we do, then who knows?”

Leicester manager Stewart Dickson said: “We’re five points up from the first meeting which was a win we had to work hard for although it feels like an eternity ago, so our first target will be to get the aggregate point.

“I would say we had a more encouraging performance at Belle Vue last Monday, but there are still a couple of riders who can add more to what they scored last week.

“If we’re going to have any chance of firstly getting the aggregate point and secondly any other points, we need all seven to come to the party. We know the job in hand.”

KING’S LYNN: Tobiasz Musielak R/R, Steve Worrall, Jan Kvech, Benjamin Basso, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Patryk Wojdylo, Anders Rowe.
LEICESTER: Max Fricke, Richard Lawson, Sam Masters, Luke Becker, Ryan Douglas, Craig Cook, Sam Hagon.
SCB Referee: Gary Allen
