TIGERS WAIT ON WOFFY
SHEFFIELD are waiting on news of treble World Champion Tai Woffinden after a frightening crash in Saturday’s Grand Prix of Poland.
Woffinden had won his first ride at Gorzow but clipped the fence in Heat 8 in a battle with Kai Huckenbeck, and suffered a heavy fall.
The Tigers star was withdraw from the meeting and was taken to hospital with concerns over an elbow injury.
The Owlerton club, who are firmly in the race to defend their ROWE Motor Oil Premiership title, face two away matches this week as they travel to Oxford on Monday and then Leicester on Thursday.
