DOYLE SET FOR RETURN
IPSWICH are set to be boosted by the return of Jason Doyle for their crucial Sports Insure Premiership play-off trip to Belle Vue on Monday.
The Witches established an 18-point advantage from their home leg at Foxhall despite the absence of Doyle, who had to take a week off following a heavy crash in the Danish Grand Prix.
They were well served by Chris Harris as guest, but Doyle now looks set to return to the side as they look to knock out the defending champions.
Manager Ritchie Hawkins said: “We take it as a one-off meeting, we are certainly not going to be looking at an 18-point lead we have got, we have got to attack it and try and win the meeting.
“We are hoping to have Jason back on Monday, he is riding on Sunday (in the Czech Golden Helmet) so hopefully he comes through that and is fit.
“We have Jack Smith again at No.7, and he is very happy to be making another appearance in the Sports Insure Premiership. He knows the place very well and is capable of scoring points around there at No.7.”
