PREVIEW: SHEFFIELD v NORTHAMPTON (ROWE MOTOR OIL PREM)

SHEFFIELD have the chance to add three more invaluable league points to their tally when Northampton visit Owlerton tonight (Thursday).

The pair have already been involved in two last heat deciders this season with both contests going down to the wire at the home of the Foxes.

Sheffield again operate rider replacement for injured No.1 Jack Holder, whilst the visitors name an unchanged side from their win over King’s Lynn on Monday.

Tigers star Leon Flint said: “On their day, Northampton have got some world class riders.

“So we definitely need to be on our A-game; we’ve already seen what happened at home to King’s Lynn when we weren’t.

“We need the same sort of atmosphere, the same sort of energy we had against Ipswich and hopefully we can go back-to-back.”

Northampton boss Chris Adams said: “We’re looking forward to Sheffield. It’s a tricky old place to go, and it’s a little bit like Belle Vue in that if you go there and you’re on the wrong set-up, you can be chasing hard but be left at the back.

“But we’re going there with positive feelings after our win at home on Monday, and we’ll see what we can do.”

*UPDATE 3.30pm: Northampton will track Freddy Hodder as a guest for Troy Batchelor, who has hurt his knee.
