PREVIEW: IPSWICH v BELLE VUE (ROWE MOTOR OIL PREM)

IPSWICH host ROWE Motor Oil Premiership leaders Belle Vue tonight (Thursday) with one more win required to seal their play-off place.

The Witches and the Aces could be set to meet in the semi-finals, but the home side still need to make sure of a top four finish – and defeat in their final regular Foxhall fixture could open the door for local rivals King’s Lynn.

Ipswich welcome back Scott Nicholls after a month on the sidelines with a broken collarbone, whilst Belle Vue track Sam Hagon as a guest for Will Cairns who is on SGP2 duty.

The meeting also sees a return to Foxhall for former Ipswich No.1 Jason Doyle, who spent four years with the Witches and helped them to the league title in 2025.

Ipswich skipper Danny King said: “The way the season has gone, we have done really well at home. We just have to believe in ourselves and get the job done.

“They’re a solid outfit, as we know. It’s going to be another tough meeting. We just have to step up and do our jobs.

“We all know what Jason is about. He is a fantastic rider, and he knows this place well. We have to show him it’s our home track, and not his, this year.”

Aces manager Mark Lemon said: “After Monday’s results it’s looking like Ipswich are in the hot seat to qualify for the play-offs over King’s Lynn, but that’s not really our focus at the moment.

“We’re going to Ipswich to do a job on Thursday, and it will be our normal routine. Then when the play-offs come around, we’ll tackle whoever is in front of us.”

IPSWICH: Richard Lawson, Scott Nicholls, Danny King, Tom Brennan, Tobiasz Musielak, Kevin Juhl Pedersen, Jason Edwards.

BELLE VUE: Brady Kurtz, Norick Blodorn, Peter Kildemand, Zach Cook, Jason Doyle, Tate Zischke, Sam Hagon.
