INJURY WORRIES FOR PREM PAIR

SHEFFIELD and Belle Vue have injury concerns after Jack Holder and Jason Doyle both crashed out of Saturday’s FIM Speedway GP of Poland at Wroclaw.

Tigers No.1 Holder and recent Aces signing Doyle were involved in a frightening three-rider pile-up on the first bend of Heat 7, which also involved Polish rider Kacper Woryna who was able to continue in the meeting.

Doyle returned to the pits but was put into a neck brace and withdrew from his remaining rides, whilst Holder was taken to hospital with further news awaited.

The meeting was won by World Champion Bartosz Zmazlik, who resumes the World Championship lead after Belle Vue skipper Brady Kurtz was relegated to fourth place in the Final.

Great Britain’s Robert Lambert was a strong second, and is now third overall, with Michael Jepsen Jensen completing the podium finishers on the night.
