DOYLE INJURY LATEST

JASON Doyle has been ruled out of Ipswich’s trip to Birmingham on Bank Holiday Monday following his recent crash at King’s Lynn.

Doyle suffered some cracked ribs and a sore shoulder in the accident at the Adrian Flux Arena on Thursday, and it means the Witches are currently without two of their top three riders.

They will bring in Nicolai Klindt to guest for injured captain Danny King at Perry Barr, with rider replacement in operation for Doyle.

Manager Ritchie Hawkins said: “We are depleted but we are still looking to win as we always would do.

“It is not vital as such seeing as we are in such a good position after our great start to the season but we have got a great guest coming in with Nicolai and anyone can take a ride for R/R so we should still be strong.

“We are still putting out a strong side and are looking to win the meeting.”
