BRUMMIES SEEK REPLACEMENT
BIRMINGHAM are in the market for a temporary replacement after captain Steve Worrall was ruled out for 28 days.
The former British No.2 is sidelined by a renewed bout of Labyrinthitis which caused him to miss meetings earlier in the season.
The news is also a blow to Worrall’s Championship club Glasgow who are in the chase for the play-offs.
He said: “The docs have told me the only thing that solves it is time. It’s an issue that stems from your ears and they have to repair themselves.
“The only medication they have given me is anti-sickness medicine. When it does come on it makes you feel very sick.
“I’ve battled through it, tried to anyway, but I’m not quite myself.
“As riders we do carry on through injuries. But it’s not fair for me to just keep turning up 50 per cent.”
