BAD BREAK FOR JACK

SHEFFIELD No.1 Jack Holder is facing a spell on the sidelines following a heavy crash in Saturday’s FIM Speedway GP of Poland.

Holder was involved in a high-speed first-bend tangle in Heat 7 at Wroclaw which also involved Belle Vue’s Jason Doyle, and the Tigers star is now set for surgery on a broken arm.

Doyle escaped any broken bones in the accident, but he does require rest after being badly shaken, and he will miss the Aces’ home clash with Ipswich on Monday.
