PREVIEW: ARMADALE v MILDENHALL (NDL)

ARMADALE look to break their duck in the National Development League when champions Mildenhall visit tonight (Friday).

The Fen Tigers have only completed one match this season, and now embark on a two-day Northern tour with Greg Blair guesting for James Shanes who is on World Longtrack duty. The hosts operate rider replacement for George Rothery.

Devils star Danny Phillips said: “I always go out there to try and score as many points as possible and help the team win the meeting. I don’t feel like I’ve really been doing what I expect from myself and what I assume people expect from me, so I want to turn that around starting on Friday.

“Hopefully I’ll pop out the gate a few times and make my job easier and get back to doing what I should be.”

Fen Tigers co-boss Jason Gardner said: “We’ve studied closely all the options for the guest facility we have due to James being away representing GB in World Championship duty.

“At Armadale, we’ve plumped for the experienced Scotsman Greg Blair who scored paid 12 when he appeared for his 2022 NDL side Berwick up at Armadale earlier this campaign.”
