KELLY JOINS COMETS

WORKINGTON have signed Elliot Kelly who becomes the third rider confirmed for their return to the sport in the NDL at Northside.

Kelly had been expected to line up for Mildenhall this year but sat out the start of the campaign before completing the season with Armadale, and he will now join Luke Harrison at reserve for the Comets.

Said Kelly: “Northside holds a special place in my heart as I learned to ride my bike on the training track nearly eight years ago now.

“I’m looking forward to showing everybody how far I’ve come since then.

“With a cracking team who have put thousands of hours into building a whole new track and stadium from next to nothing, I’ve got nothing but high hopes for the upcoming season.

“I can’t wait to get out there on a brand-new track and really push myself on as far as I can.”
