GLASGOW SGP2 LINE-UP ANNOUNCED

THE starting list has been announced for the FIM SGP2 Qualifier taking place at Glasgow this Saturday (7pm).

Ashfield Stadium hosts one of three meetings which provide the route into the three-round SGP series, with the others taking place in the Czech Republic also on Saturday, and in Hungary on June 7.

Great Britain’s nominated representatives at Glasgow are Tigers duo Dan Thompson and Ashton Boughen along with Jake Mulford.

However, Thompson suffered a scaphoid injury during the British Under-21 Final last weekend and should he be withdrawn then his place would pass to his twin brother Joe, who is currently named as reserve with Luke Harrison.

The line-up at Glasgow also features Belle Vue and Workington’s Australian youngster Tate Zischke, and last year’s overall fourth-place finisher in SGP2 Mikkel Andersen along with his Danish compatriot Villads Nagel who also raced in the main series.

British U21 Champion Sam Hagon and Luke Killeen compete in the other Qualifiers at Pardubice and Debrecen respectively.

LINE-UP: 1 Alex Adamson (Aus), 2 Otto Raek (Fin), 3 Jan Jenicek (Cze) 4 Slater Lightcap (USA), 5 Patricia Erhart (Ger), 6 Noel Wahlquist (Swe) 7 Ashton Boughen (GB), 8 Antoni Mencel (Pol), 9 Tate Zischke (Aus), 10 Jake Mulford (GB), 11 Timmy Dion (USA), 12 Dan Thompson (GB), 13 Villads Nagel (Den), 14 Mikkel Andersen (Den), 15 Jan Przanowski (Pol), 16 Michael West (Aus).
