GB YOUNGSTERS HEAD TO PARDUBICE

CURRENT British U19 Champion Ace Pijper and Ben Trigger both compete in the European U19 Qualifier at Czech Republic venue Pardubice on Friday afternoon.

Redcar rider Pijper, who won his national title at Oxford last autumn, just missed out on qualifying for the European U19 Final when he last competed in Zarnovica, Slovakia back in 2023.

Similarly, Trigger (Plymouth) also missed out on qualifying for the same event when he competed last season’s qualifier at the Gustrow track in Germany.

With both riders turning 19 later this year, this will be their last chance in this competition, and therefore both will be extra keen to make the top eight to enable them to qualify for the European U19 Final, which will take place in Grudziadz, Poland in August.
