COMETS STAGE MAJOR 125cc EVENT

WORKINGTON have been chosen to host the 2026 European 125cc Youth Track Racing Cup with the event to take place on Sunday August 9.

The prestigious FIM Europe championship will bring the best 125cc riders from across the continent to West Cumbria for a landmark event at the GT Tyres Arena.

Club bosses have worked to make substantial improvements to the venue since it made its debut in league racing in 2023, before stepping up to senior level the following year.

They have a history of successful stagings of Youth and individual events, and with the venue having been built to FIM specifications they have always had the ambition to stage such meetings.
