PREVIEW: REDCAR v EASTBOURNE (Champ)

REDCAR can move back into the Championship’s top four with a home win over Eastbourne tonight (Friday).

Both sides have positional changes with James Sarjeant moving into the Bears’ top five and Anders Rowe going to reserve, whilst Richard Lawson takes over as No.1 for the Eagles.

Redcar reserve Jordan Jenkins said: “Friday is going to be a tough meeting for sure, Eastbourne pushed Glasgow hard on their own turf which tells everyone something.

“To be honest there’s not one weak rider in their side, however all of us Bears are more than capable of scoring points especially at home. We will have to be on top form from the off and hit them hard.”

Eagles co-promoter Lee Kilby said: “Having stood in the pits at Glasgow and seeing how the boys pushed the Tigers all the way, I can’t help feeling the tide is about to turn and we’re about to start to get the results we need to get back up the table.

“We are determined to get something at Redcar.”

REDCAR: Charles Wright, James Sarjeant, Jake Allen, Jordan Stewart r/r, Michael Palm Toft, Anders Rowe, Jordan Jenkins.
EASTBOURNE: Richard Lawson, Kyle Newman, Edward Kennett, Tom Brennan, Lewis Kerr, Jason Edwards, Drew Kemp.
