PREVIEW: POOLE v PLYMOUTH (Champ)
POOLE go for a 13th successive home win when they host Plymouth at Wimborne Road tonight (Wednesday).
The Pirates are closing in on a top-two finish to secure a place in the play-off semi-finals, and bring in Anders Rowe at reserve to guest for the injured Stefan Nielsen.
The Gladiators have Ben Barker standing in for broken collarbone victim Richard Lawson, and also include Poole legend Bjarne Pedersen who will be racing on his old home track for the final time.
Pirates promoter Danny Ford said: “I am certain all of our fans will want to give Bjarne a big send-off as this will be his last racing appearance at Wimborne Road.
“He might be in opposition colours, but I know he has a big place in his heart for our club and equally he is held in very high esteem by the management and supporters alike here at Poole.
“It will be sad to see him track his final four laps around the place he raced most of his British career and I guess there won’t be a dry eye in the house when that moment comes.”
POOLE: Rory Schlein, Benjamin Basso, Steve Worrall, Ben Cook, Danny King, Anders Rowe, Danyon Hume.
PLYMOUTH: Bjarne Pedersen, Zane Keleher, Allfie Bowtell, Zach Cook, Jason Crump, Ben Barker, Zach Cook, Dillon Ruml.
