PREVIEW: GLASGOW v PLYMOUTH (MAXiCAB KO CUP)
GLASGOW manager Cami Brown is targeting a big lead from the first leg of their MAXiCab KO Cup quarter-final against Plymouth tonight (Friday).
The sides are set for a busy 24 hours as after the Ashfield clash they make the long trip back to Devon for tomorrow’s return fixture at the Coliseum.
The Tigers are forced into two changes as Leon Flint and Mario Hausl are both competing in Speedway Euro Championship qualifiers this weekend, with Nick Morris and Simon Lambert coming in to guest.
Brown said: “The odds are stacked against us a bit. I think we need to come out all guns blazing to get a big lead up early doors at Ashfield. That will help us take control of the tie hopefully
“Plymouth are definitely a different proposition this season. They have four guys who really love Ashfield and that will make it tough for us.
“They have also produced two really strong home wins, that means we’ll need a big lead to take to their place on Saturday.”
