PREVIEW: GLASGOW v BERWICK (CAB DIRECT CHAMP)

GLASGOW and Berwick meet twice in the space of 24 hours this weekend starting at Ashfield tonight (Friday).

The Tigers are second in the Cab Direct Championship table, albeit 11 points behind leaders Poole, whilst the Bandits are sixth with a symmetrical record of three home wins and three away defeats.

Glasgow name a full-strength side whilst Berwick have Jonas Jeppesen making his debut whilst Troy Batchelor guests for the absent Craig Cook.

Bandits boss Stewart Dickson said: “As always we go to Glasgow looking for a win, but at the very least we must keep it tight to ensure that the aggregate point is within our grasp come Saturday.

“Both sides have had to work hard to plug gaps on Saturday, but I always say that it is a question of us doing our jobs properly rather than worry too much about the opposition.

“Which way the five available points go will have a big bearing on how the league table looks come Sunday morning.”
