COMETS COMPLETE WITH HOOK

WORKINGTON have completed their Cab Direct Championship line-up for 2025 with the signing of Australian racer Jacob Hook.

The 22-year-old joins the Comets after previous spells with Edinburgh, Berwick and Plymouth, and he will team up with fellow new signing Vinnie Foord at reserve.

Promoter Andrew Bain said: “This is great news to finish our team-building for next season.

“Jacob, although still young, has been over in the UK for a number of seasons and has experience of the British tracks and I think this will one of our keys to success in 2025.

“Also the experience Jacob has, he will be able to pass onto his new reserve partner Vinnie, which is what a young rider like Vinnie needs to progress.”
