BRENNAN TO FACE PIRATES

FORMER Poole title winner Tom Brennan will make a guest appearance in opposition colours when the Pirates host Scunthorpe on Wednesday.

Brennan moved away from the Cab Direct Championship following a successful campaign in Dorset two years ago, but he has agreed to step in for the Scorpions this week with No.1 Josh Pickering on the sidelines.

Pirates co-promoter Dan Ford said: “I am certain that many Poole fans will be keen to see Tom back here for the first time since 2024.

“Tom was integral to our treble winning team and although he will be in opposition he should get one of the very warm receptions that ex-Pirates so often experience on their returns.”
