BEARS BASH GLADIATORS

REDCAR completed a stunning weekend with a rampant 56-34 away win at Plymouth on Saturday.

The Bears have moved up to fifth in the Cab Direct Championship, above the Gladiators, after inflicting major damage on their opponents who were without three of their regular riders.

Nicolai Klindt starred on his old home track with 14+1 from six rides and Jason Edwards added 11 in a terrific all-round showing from a six-rider line-up as Jake Allen was absent.

Meanwhile the Gladiators are reflecting on the damage to their play-off aspirations this weekend and the result would have been worse but for a 16-point haul from Scott Nicholls who won four of his six rides.
