BANDITS TOP AFTER HOME WIN
BERWICK are top of the Cab Direct Championship table after a 47-42 win over Plymouth at Shielfield Park.
The Bandits overcame another injury setback for No.1 Lewis Kerr, who was ruled out of the meeting after a clash with Connor Mountain in Heat 1, and is now set for further scans this week.
Skipper Rory Schlein led the way with 15 points from six rides as the hosts operated injury rider replacement, and reserve Bastian Borke notched 11+1.
The Gladiators again proved competitive on their travels with guest rider Mountain impressing with 13+1, whilst Ben Barker picked up 12+2 to leave them well placed to challenge for the aggregate point.
