BERWICK have announced Jordan Jenkins’ short term deal with the club has been extended for the remainder of the season after an impressive run of scores.

And with Reid Battye, the rider Jenkins replaced due to injury, set for a comeback this weekend it means a team switch for the Bandits.

Jenkins will replace Lasse Fredriksen in the Shielfield side’s septet, with their revised line-up going into action for the first time in their BSN Series semi-final at Redcar on Friday.

Manager Stewart Dickson said: “It is a little tough on Lasse, but Jordan has taken his opportunity with both hands.

“Reid’s recovery allowed us to fit them both into the side, so it became a no-brainer really.”
