BRITS THROUGH IN SLOVAKIA

BRITISH Youth riders Archie Rolph and Oli Bovingdon both came through a tough European 250cc Challenge to qualify for Sunday’s Final which takes place at the same Slovakian venue of Zarnovica .

There were fabulous performances by both British representatives on Saturday with Rolph ending the afternoon on 13 points and claiming third place, and Bovingdon was just as impressive with a score of 12 points, being placed fourth overall.

The Challenge was won by Latvian Andzejs Smulkevics with Ukraine’s Arsen Mikulcin just pipping Rolph to second place.

Rolph and Bovingdon now compete against the six other qualifiers from the Challenge as well as the top eight 250cc seeded riders in what is sure to be a tough European Final.
