POSTPONED: BERWICK v REDCAR (BSN S/F)
BERWICK have postponed Saturday’s BSN Series semi-final against Redcar due to electrical issues at Shielfield Park.
A statement from the club reads:
A major electrical issue has forced the postponement of Berwick Bandits’ BSN Series semi-final against Redcar Bears.
A significant issue with parts of the electrical system at the Shielfield Park venue means that essential areas of the stadium’s power supply are out of use.
A spokesman for the club said: “Our team has been working closely with the relevant parties since being notified of the problem late on Thursday evening but, unfortunately, the issue cannot be resolved in time for Saturday’s meeting to go ahead.
“We fully appreciate how disappointing this is for supporters and riders, and share their frustration.”
A restaging date will be arranged once the problem has been resolved.
