CHEETAHS FANS SAY FRIDAY!

OXFORD are set for Friday night home racing this month – after supporters were asked for their opinions in a WhatsApp survey!

The Cheetahs have been seeking rearrangement dates for home matches against Berwick and Poole, and will stage the meetings on Friday July 24 and Friday July 31 respectively.

The club needed to move away from their normal Wednesday racenight due to various club and rider commitments, and they surveyed fans as to whether they would prefer Tuesdays or Fridays as an alternative.

Over 90 per cent of the responses were in favour of Fridays, which was the club’s regular racenight during much of their previous era, including the bulk of their glory days of the 1980s when they won three top-flight league titles.
