PREVIEW: BELLE VUE v KING’S LYNN (ROWE MOTOR OIL PREM)

ROWE Motor Oil Premiership leaders Belle Vue host King’s Lynn tonight (Monday) with three league points up for grabs once more.

The Aces won 49-41 at the Adrian Flux Arena last month so further success at the National Speedway Stadium will significantly enhance their position at the top.

Jason Doyle is due back for the Manchester club after missing last week’s matches against Ipswich, and they will be facing a Stars side with a new look to their riding order.

Youngster Cooper Rushen moves into the top five and captain Chris Harris is named at No.2, whilst new signing Jordan Jenkins comes in at reserve as he makes his debut tonight.

 Aces manager Mark Lemon said: “Our recent run of home performances has been extremely pleasing. The atmosphere around the club is excellent, the riders are full of confidence, and we’ve shown exactly what this team is capable of when everyone works together.

“King’s Lynn have assembled a competitive side, and despite recent results we know they possess the quality to cause any team problems on their day. We certainly won’t be taking anything for granted.”

Jenkins said: “The thing with Belle Vue is that it’s easy to ride but hard to be fast. I’ve just got to find a set-up that will benefit me, and hopefully make some starts and get some speed in the bike.

“I need to get bedded in with King’s Lynn so we want to have a good meeting and then we’ll go again at home on Thursday.”
