GLASGOW NAME THEIR FAITHFUL

CAB Direct Championship runners-up Glasgow have revealed their full line-up for 2026 including three new signings.

Announced in a ‘Traitors’ style video sketch, the Tigers will give Danish racer Kevin Juhl Pedersen and FIM Speedway of Nations 2 winner Mario Hausl – who was successful with Germany in October – their debuts in UK league speedway.

And they have also swooped to sign double British Under-21 Champion Sam Hagon, who makes the move from Berwick.

They join skipper Chris Harris, Kyle Howarth, Leon Flint and Freddy Hodder who return from the side which lost out to Poole in an epic Grand Final title decider which went down to a Super Heat decider.

Team manager Cami Brown said: “This is the team we wanted for 2026. It’s a fabulous mix of youth and experience plus so much entertainment. It’s a side of pure excitement. 

“It’s sensational that we can bring in Mario who won a gold medal for Germany in the Speedway of Nations 2. He’s one of the hottest prospects in world speedway. 

“Kevin is a proven scorer on the continent picking up silver in the Danish Junior Championship for individual and team three years ago. 

“Sam is a great young rider. He has won the British Under-21 Championship for the past two years, both at Ashfield. 

“This is a really great team and we think they will produce great racing for the fans. Bring on 2026!”
