MULFORD RECEIVES LONG TRACK CALL

GREAT Britain racer Jake Mulford has secured a full-time position in the FIM World Long Track Championship for the first time.

Mulford, who rode for Belle Vue and Redcar this year, was a reserve for the 2025 series and made a highly impressive appearance in the final round at Roden where only a tapes infringement cost him a place in the closing stages of the meeting.

Now he is one of four British competitors to be named in the line-up for next season under a new 20-rider format, which also includes defending champion Zach Wajtknecht, runner-up Chris Harris and Andrew Appleton who placed seventh this year.

Mulford said: “I can’t wait for this opportunity to be lining up for my first full year in the World Longtrack GP series.”
