POSTPONED: BRITISH YOUTH, LEICESTER

SUNDAY’S scheduled British Youth Championship meeting at the Hydroscand Arena has been postponed because of a waterlogged track. A new date will be announced in due course.

LEICESTER host the final round of the 250cc class of the 2025 British Youth Championship today at a 6pm start time prior to their NDT fixture versus Kent.

The Championship is still up for grabs with Casper Kluczniak currently leading the series but only four points in front of Oli Bovingdon and eight in front of Archie Rolph, and with 18 points available today it is sure to be a tense event.

So with Kluczniak, Bovingdon and Rolph still in with a chance of winning the British Championship, a new name on the trophy is guaranteed as all three riders are chasing their first British 250cc title.

Seven riders take part this afternoon, and as well as the British Championship there are also the top three podium positions to race for, and an outside chance if Emerson Betty was to win today’s round that he could sneak into the top three and claim a medal.
