POSTPONED: LEICESTER v KENT (NDT)

SUNDAY’S scheduled National Development Trophy match between Leicester and Kent at the Hydroscand Arena has been postponed because of a waterlogged track. A new date will be announced in due course.

LEICESTER host Kent at the Hydroscand Arena, Beaumont Park tonight (Sunday, 7.30pm) in a meeting which will decide runners-up spot in the National Development Trophy.

The Eagles currently hold that position but the Fox Cubs can overhaul them if they win the match and take the aggregate point, having lost by six points in the reverse fixture at Iwade.

The home side are without both regular reserves so Harry Fletcher and Seth Norman come in, whilst the visitors have Jamie Etherington guesting for the injured Nathan Ablitt.

Kent boss David Graveling said: “43 points is the target to obtain the aggregate point which would secure second place, however it would be no disgrace if we were to finish third in our first season.”
