POSTITIVE NIGHT FOR CHARGERS

OXFORD are close to securing second place in the WSRA National Development League after winning 50-39 at Scunthorpe on Friday.

The Chargers completed their campaign with a third win on the road, gaining revenge for a home defeat by the Stags although not by a large enough margin to take the aggregate point.

Jody Scott led a solid team performance with 10 points for the visitors, whilst the Stags’ scoring was dominated by Ace Pijper with 13 and Luke Harrison with a 12-point maximum from four rides.
