TIGERS’ TOBI BLOW

SHEFFIELD’S run of injury misfortune has continued with news that Tobiasz Musielak will miss the remainder of the season.

The Pole crashed out of Ostrow’s play-off semi-final defeat at Zielona Gora in his home country on Sunday, suffering a broken tibia.

It is another major headache for the Tigers who also have Tai Woffinden sidelined with broken bones in his hand, as they prepare to face the first leg of their own semi-final at Wolverhampton next Monday (September 25).

The Owlerton side had already rebuilt their team in recent weeks following previous injuries to Jack Holder and Rising Star Dan Gilkes.
