TARASENKO A TIGER

GLASGOW have announced plans to bring in Vadim Tarasenko for the Cab Direct Championship run-in.

The deal, subject to BSPL approval, will see Tarasenko join the Tigers in time for their home clash with Oxford on September 8 as a replacement for Marcin Nowak who left the club last weekend.

Manager Cami Brown said: “It’s a fabulous coup for Glasgow. We are bringing in a genuine superstar into the Cab Direct Championship. 

“Vadim is world class and a great guy as well and we know our fans will be delighted with the news. 

“It was tough to lose Marcin at this crucial stage of the season. He was massively popular at Ashfield and always will be. 

“But Vadim was on our radar as a possible target and this is a massive boost for the club. We have always promised the fans at Glasgow we would try and bring the best entertainment to Ashfield and Vadim will certainly add to that.”
