PREVIEW: OXFORD v REDCAR (Champ)

REDCAR boss Jade Mudgway hopes a recent visit to Oxford will pay dividends when the Bears return to Cowley in the Championship tonight (Wednesday).

The Teessiders were narrowly beaten in the first leg of their KO Cup tie before securing progression at home, and now make the trip south with league points at stake.

Mudgway told redcar-speedway.com: “It is a big help, and it’s something that should work in our favour.

“In the KO Cup I believe we won the last two-thirds of the match, so we need to be clever and use what we learned to our advantage and win the entirety of the meeting.

“Our aim is to win on the night, and I believe we have the riders to do just that!”

The home side have Chris Harris guesting for Troy Batchelor, who was injured at Plymouth on Tuesday, whilst Nathan Stoneman continues at reserve for Josh Macdonald. Redcar operate rider replacement for Kasper Andersen who has a Danish commitment.

OXFORD: Scott Nicholls, Kyle Newman, Jack Thomas, Cameron Heeps, Chris Harris, Dillon Ruml, Nathan Stoneman.
REDCAR: Charles Wright, Adam Roynon, Erik Riss, Kasper Andersen R/R, Lewis Kerr, Jordan Jenkins, Jason Edwards.
